DR ANUMITRA MIRTI

Founder and Managing Director

I founded eResilience Planning (ERP) to drive the Net Zero and Nature positive future by adopting circular economy principles and practices. I work with the clients to align their sustainability targets and goals to their corporate vision and business model to remain competitve and future fit. I work with government, private sector, academia and non-for-profit organisations across Australia and abroad.

As a strategist with 24+ years of experience, I lead the development of strategic sustainability policies, plans and roadmaps including urban growth and land use planning initiatives such as Future Cities Project, Environmental Lands Review, Greener Cities and Biodiversity resilience projects. As a technical lead in climate resilience and sustainability, I help clients to deliver programs or projects to decarbonise their business, process or asset design, embed circular economy principles in design thinking, understand the climate risks and opportunities and adopt adaptation pathways. Over the a decade I have actively contributed and lead circular economy agenda across the Hunter Central Coast region. As a researcher, I am passionate about evidence-based decision making and collaborate with key stakeholders to understand the problem, the data, to co-create solutions for innovation and support the adoption of tools and measures for continual improvement. I am a leader I value people, community and cultures and advocate for collective decision making. I am a mentor and coach my students, colleagues to implement sustainable outcomes. I feel the urgency to act now and make every effort to help our clients to understand the "Why" and transition in this new economy.

  • I work with a range of tools and approaches depending on the context - I draw from systems thinking, human centred design, capacity building and agile project management.

  • I like to begin with world views – what informs your perspective - be it culture, discipline, life experience, and how can we ensure everyone has standing and is heard as we define the problem before solutions. I
